Citibank and Apollo Munich will be working together

In order to attract more number of customers Citibank India in association with Apollo Munich will be providing special health services to the customers. This is a combined financial protection and health and lifestyle management solutions that will assist customers in both financial as well health management.

The plan will be offering support for non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, cancers and tumours. Antony Jacob, CEO, Apollo Munich Health Insurance, reported that only a 20% of people in cities are having health insurances, and for the first time a customized plan has come up that will be offering health and financial management services combined. IRDA report stated that India’s health insurance premium market grew 16.57 per cent to about Rs 15,700 crore in financial year 2012-13.
