Donations made by SBI as a part of CRS activities

The largest leading bank of the country – State Bank of India is working to help out the disabled students. As a part of the corporate social responsibility the SBI bank recently gave a cheuqe of Rs 12,11,250 to Abhijit Chakrabarti, Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University . The bank has purchased three battery operated vehicles that will help the physically handicap students in the campus movement.

Besides banking, banks work and assist in the other issues as well, for the upliftment of the society. SBI bank has also donated a sum of Rs 2- lacs to Institute of Child Health for an ultrasound system for the hospital.
