HDFC bank to offer personal loans through kiosks at corporate offices

The second largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank will open kiosks at the corporate houses. It will make borrowing a personal loan an easier affair for the employees. Using the facility they not only can apply for the loan at their office but if every thing is in order, customer can even receive money in 24 hours.

The senior Vice-President and Business Manager (unsecured loans) at HDFC Bank, Mr. Sai Giridhar said, "Initially, we are targeting companies that already have a banking relationship with us. We plan to set up 1,500 priority desks across 500 companies in nine cities in the next six months."

Customers can avail every detail about personal loans at the kiosks and can then apply then and there to borrow a loan.

Mr. Girdhar said, "Our objective is to improve the customers' experience and make the entire process hassle free."
