Three senior executives, who were part of the top management of the Kerala based Dhanlaxmi Bank, have resigned from their posts recently.
The Chief Operating Officer of the bank, Mr. Muralidharan Rajamani quit last month citing personal reasons for his decision to resign from the bank. Before joining Dhanlaxmi Bank, he provided his services to Brics Online Services as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he worked for ICICI Bank and State bank of India. He started working for the private sector bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank, in the year 2009.
Another key personnel, Mr. Bipin Kabra, the Chief Financial Officer of the bank, also put in his papers last month. Along with him, the President and Head of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility of Dhanlaxmi Bank, Mr. Manish Kumar also resigned from his position. While Kabra has confirmed his resignation, Kumar is yet to comment on the matter.
With these three top level exits, the Thrissur based bank's entire top management has resigned from their positions.
It is reported that in February this year, Mr. Amitabh Chaturvedi, the Chief Executive Officer of Dhanlaxmi Bank, had resigned following severe differences with other board members about the functioning and management of the bank. It is speculated that his resignation may have triggered off this series of top level exits.
