It has been reported that banks are being unfair by charging the fee for making transaction at the non home branches. RBI has ended the disparity in charges for cash transactions at home branches and non-home branches.

Banks are charging customers if they frequently use non home branches. The people living away from the home branches are facing problems. State bank of India has restricted the free transactions up to 5 per month, after that Rs 50 will be charged. ICICI bank has permitted to make only on cash deposit in a month either by the person himself or by any other on his behalf after that the bank charges Rs 5000 for any transaction at non home branch.

Although the RBI has asked the banks with the help of the CBS banking system they should be fair and partial at all the branches. No discrimination at the home and home branches among the customers. Still the banks are not maintaining uniformity and are charging for using non home branches.
