Leading private Banks across the country are coming up with a new concept of Lounges in their banks. These lounges are to cater the banking needs of HNIs and affluent clients.

Previously, banks had separate branch for such customers, but with increasing affluent customers, the banks are setting up lounges/waiting areas in many branches all over the country.

Top three private banks, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank have such facilities in their branches where customers can meet their relationship manager. The customers can also do their non-bank related works here. Mumbai based YES Bank is also not behind in this race, it also has lounge for the YES First customers.

The bankers believed the rich clients seldom visit the banks for any transactions, and must get attention and privacy whenever they do visit the branch. Not only metropolitan, but the banks are also giving attention to other cities like Bhopal, Surat, Ludhiana, Pune, Mohali, and Chandigarh.
