RBI requested people not to use notes for garlands

(RBI) The Reserve Bank of India has requested individuals to have regard the national money and prevent the utilization for showering the money on people at social occasions, a regular practice in political rallies and marriages or making garlands.In an open request, the national bank said cash notes must not be utilized for decorating pandals making garlands, and places of religious sentiments, or for giving on people in social occasions.

"Such activities ruin the monetary certificates and abbreviate their existence," RBI said. "Certified receipts ought to be regarded since they are an image of the country and people in general ought not abuse it and help in expanding the life of certified receipts."

The central bank additionally stated that they have been taking necessary efforts to supply notes which are clean across the nation and have requested people to contribute in the efforts of their" clean note policy" for the country.
