SBI bank opened 548758 savings accounts in Chhattisgarh under PMJDY

The huge networked bank of the country – State bank of India has taken a led to open savings account in PMJDY in chattisgarh. It has been reported that the state was having the target of 2.5 million accounts to be opened under this scheme. As per the reports till 20th November 1904000 new bank accounts have been opened in the state under the PMJDY. The chief minister of the state has asked the banks to organize the campaigns for opening the new savings account. A total of 44 banks in the state including 27 public sector and 14 private sector banks are working for this scheme.

SBI bank has opened 548758 bank accounts under the PMJDY in Chhattisgarh. Following the SBI the Chattisgarh Chhattisgarh Gramin Vikas Bank has opened 476569 accounts. Within a period of three months the bank has achieved to open these numbers of account.
