The largest leading Bank of the country – State bank of India has decided to work with RML Information services LTD. Through this tie up bank will be providing personalized agriculture related information to its customers.RML services is a mobile-based personalised information and engagement service for agri community.
By charging a nominal fees the bank will offer the facility of information on weather, input prices, crop diseases, government schemes/ initiatives, market prices of produce, etc. through SMS and dedicated contact centers backed by a team of full-time local experts. This service will be available for all the SBI customers across the country.
SBI is having nearly 12 million customers. It has been informed that this facility will be available in nine languages on all operators and handsets in the major states of the country.
