The leading lending institution of the country – State Bank of India has made a donation for a social cause. As a part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility, the bank has taken this initiative of donating Rs 8.6 crore to the Bengaluru-based Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation (SCF) to procure PET CT scanning equipment. SCF is the first charitable cancer hospital. It was reported that SCF is a non profitable organization which works for the cancer patients. Here the cancer patients receive the proper cancer treatments at a affordable cost. This charitable hospital works for the treatment of cancer patient’s specifically poor people.SBI has made donation to help this NGO in its working and help the cancer patients. |
