State Bank of India announced probationary exam results

India's largest lender, State Bank of India has declared the results of the written examination for recruitment of probationary officers.

According to a notification on the bank's portal, qualified candidates can download their interview call letters and bio-data format from June 18 onwards.

The second round of exam, consisting of group discussion and interview, would start from July 3rd, 2013.

Over 17 lakh candidates had applied for 1,500 vacancies for which the written examination was conducted on April 28, 2012 and the results are much awaited.

This was the highest number of applications the bank had received in recent times.
