13 member committee set up by RBI for a clear and detailed vision on Financial services across the country

Today The Reserve Bank officially announced a committee of 13 members to come with a detailed and clear vision for budgetary inclusion/deepening all over the nation. This will be headed by a member of the RBI's Central Board of Directors Nachiket Mor, The other members of the committee are: A P Hota (CEO and MD, National Payments Corporation of India), ). S Mundra (CMD, Bank of Baroda), Bharat Doshi, (Chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services), Roopa Kudva (CEO & MD, CRISIL), Bindu Ananth, (President, IFMR Trust), Zia Mody (AZB Partners & Managing Partner), Prakash Bakshi, (NABARD ,Chairman), Vikram Pandit (previous CEO, Citigroup), Sunil Kaushal (CEO, Standard Chartered Bank India), and Shikha Sharma (CEO& MD, Axis Bank) as well as Ramesh Ramanathan (Janalakshmi Financial Services Chairman) . The Secretarial support to the board will be given by the Rural Planning and Credit Department (RPCD) of RBI.

The board will survey existing techniques and improve new strategies and techniques that deliver particular boundaries to advancement and sway members to work quickly towards realizing full incorporation and money related extending, predictable with the outline standards, RBI said. The board will submit its last report by December 31.
