17 lakh applications for 1500 probationary officer opening in SBI

In recent times, demand for bank jobs is increasing. State Bank of India received 17 lakh applications for the post of 1500 probationary officers.

According to SBI sources, this is the highest number of applications the bank has received in recent times.

Being the best employer, in terms of perks and growth opportunities, the bank is offering for the post of probationary officer a maximum salary of up to Rs 69000 a month in Mumbai, while it would be around Rs 50,000 in other places.

The written examination will be conducted on April, 28th, 2013.
