4 Bhartiya Mahila Bank branches to open in north-eastern capital cities

Recently, Officials of the Bhartiya Mahila Bank (BMB) stated that there are plans to open the bank's branches in the four north-eastern state capital cities.

As per a statement given to IANS from the Reserve Bank of India's senior official, within the present financial year of 2013-14, BMB's 4 branches will be at Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Gangtok (Sikkim), Shillong (Meghalaya) and Agartala (Tripura) The next year March ending will also mark a total of 25 branches of the bank, as they are planning to open 16 more branches along with the four branches of BMB bank that is being opened in the northeastern states very soon.

In 2013-14, the BMB's new branches will also be seen in places like Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Srinagar, Panaji, Naya Raipur, Patna, Dehradun, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Shimla, Chandigarh and Hyderabad apart from four branches of BMB which would be opened in the capital cities of northeastern state.
