90 next generation branches established by Andhra bank

On the successful completion of 90 years of service in banking, Andhra Bank established 90 next generation branches in the state. The bank opened the branches on 27-nov-13.The branches are fully equipped with automatic machines, and will provide the services 24 hours.

In order to make fast transactions the part of employees is enumerated. Executive Director, K.K. Misra, said that the cooperation of the entire team made transformation of 90 branches in to next generation branches possible. He further stated that earlier this year they initiated two next generation branches in Hyderabad. The experience from these two branches was quiet boosting, them helped them to transform these 90 branches.

At the end he remarked that they hope they will enhance and increase this business transformation under the scheme ‘Nava Shakti’. Bank is planning to convert the present branches or set up nearly 250 new next generation branches by this fiscal year.
