Canara Bank had launched mobile banking service-CanMobile last year. CanMobile is accessible in all the platforms (SMS, GPRS, WAP, USSD) and it works on almost all the mobile handsets.
CanMobile is fully-fledged, safe and secure mobile banking system and it is equipped with facilities like ATM locator, balance enquiry, mini statement, intra-bank fund transfer and mobile recharge. Interbank transaction solution is provided on NPCI's IMPS platform. It is a superior technology that offers an instant inter-bank money transfer 24X7.
Canara Bank is the first nationalized bank to provide inter-bank money transfer using IFSC code and account number, and also the first bank to launch IMPS fund transfer facility at ATMs.
The bank is also planning to add few value added services on CanMobile and is looking forward to deliver a steady and secure alternate banking channel for the customers.
Canara Bank is one of the largest bank with a customer strength of around 4.52 crore, and the bank also has a dynamic presence in the country market and abroad.
