ICICI bank launches its first branch on wheels in chattisgarh

Yesterday, one of the largest bank of the private lending sector, ICICI bank initiated its first wheel on branch in Chattisgarh. In order to expand its banking services make them available to areas lacking banking facilities the bank decided to launch the branch in two districts of the state.

chief minister Raman Singh of the state while initiating the branch stated that the bank rolled out this innovative mobile branch with the ATM facility to aid the people in accessing basic banking facility. With this measure the bank will be providing banking services in the area which are devoid of banking facilities.

The branch is equipped with the latest technologies like GPS tracking system, LED TV, currency counting machine, public announcement systems. The branch will cover eight villages that are lacking banking services. The bank is 51% of its branches in rural and semi-urban areas.
