ICICI bank rolled out new electronic branches

It has been reported that ICICI bank lately launched 61 new electronic branches across 33 cities of the country. These branches will be serving the customers 24X7. Eight branches are in Tamil Nadu. At present the operation is in trial stage.

The branches will be assisting the customers to access these facilities any time without any hassle and will provide them with advanced technologies. Bank has initiated this project to promote the concept of ‘go green’. These automated branches are environment friendly equipped with latest technologies. Branches will offer customers all facilities like video conferencing, instant cash withdrawal, cash deposit, internet baking kiosk, cheque book request, phone banking, funds transfer, demand drafts, printing of account statements.

It has been noticed during the trail phase in January around 30,850 transactions were made comprising of cash withdrawals, fund transfer, ATM transactions, cheque deposit etc.
