KVG bank working for the PMJDY

Regional rural Bank – Karnataka Vikas Grameen bank has showed a great contribution in PMJDY. The bank has opened 3 lakh new saving accounts under the scheme. The bank works to improve the banking facilities in the rural areas.

Recently while inaugurating the 553rd branch of the bank, the bank stated that has introduced ‘dial-for-account’ initiative as an additional step under the financial inclusion plan. Further the bank will also conduct gram sabhas for the benefit of villagers to provide better interaction between villagers and bank officials.

The bank has asked the farmers in the rural areas to use and utilize the banking facilities of the bank. Bank also plans to add 24 more branches and 150 ATMs during the current financial year.
