Thiruvananthapuram District Cooperative Bank Limited (TDCB) has taken an enterprising step for the convenience of its customers. The bank has successfully launched National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) and Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). These facilities now will make it possible for the bank’s customers to transfer money to any destination within country.

These services were inaugurated by Shashi Tharoor, the Minister of State for Human Resource Development, who welcomed this initiation that would prove to be a milestone towards bank’s overall competence. He agreed that these two enterprising services will bring a new bout of efficiency in the bank’s performance and make its other associated banking procedures also fast and rapid. The function where these electronic banking services were launched, was presided by E Shanshudeen, TDCB president. The guests and gathering was welcomed by Vice-president P Somankutty.
