A private sector lending Bank – HDFC bank has decided to open seventeen new rural branches in Uttar Pradesh. All the 17 branches will be established in rural areas of the Uttar Pradesh to provide the access to the banking services to the people living in the area devoid of banking facilities.
The new branches are located at the villages of Bamrauli Katara in the Agra district, Dhaurra Mafi in the Aligarh district, Shahabuddinpur in the Azamgarh, Ajgain in the Unnao district, Bamaila in the Jaunpur district, Bihat Biram in the Sitapur district, Bistauli Khurd in the Gorakhpur district, Patwadh in the Sonbhadra district, Samda in the Kaushambi district, Khutehna in the Shrawasti district, Para Saray and Khoransa in the Gonda district, Odwara in the Basti district, Semara Chadruli in the Maharajganj district, Baidpura in the Etawah district, Beerpur in the Shrawasti district of Uttar Pradesh.
The measure to establish these branches is a step towards the enhancement of banking services, through this bank is moving towards achieving its financial inclusion goal. The branches will remain open 6 days a week and will provide with best quality products and services to the customers.
