New branches of SBI bank to established in Karnataka

The highly networked bank of the country – State bank of India is planning to expand its network in Karnataka. The bank wants to have a network 750 branches in Karnataka by the next fiscal year.

By the end of the current fiscal year bank will add 60 new branches in the state. The bank also wants to avail its banking in the remote parts hence bank will also set up the branches in such areas offering the banking to poor and urban people.

Bank has also joined hands with Karnataka Milk federation, through which bank will support 1000 of dairy farmers. Apart from this bank also have e-c corners in the state offering ATMs, cash deposit machines, cheque deposit machines, and self-service kiosks for passbook printing.
