New cash withdrawal and deposit facility rolled out by Axis bank

Recently Axis bank rolled out a new facility for its customers making banking easier. The Axis bank has launched smart self-service terminal through which customers can deposit and withdraw the cash from the same machine.

This is new innovative measure introduced by the bank without any restriction on the amount of cash deposited by the customers provided the customer’s PAN details must be available with the bank. It has been reported by the bank that these terminals will improve the cash operations efficiency and therefore bank will try to convert all their cash deposit machines in to the self service terminals. In addition to these terminals will also allow cash recycling operations by dispensing the deposited cash for future withdrawal transactions.
