Postal Banks in AP initiated CBS

It has been reported that now the people having their accounts in postal banks can now easily operate their accounts from any of the office. The postal bank in AP has launched the core banking services(CBS) to the customers comprising of online banking, Mobile banking and SMS alerts.

The service for the time being has started in at 82 of the 95 Head Post Offices located in the sibling states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Yesterday the chief postmaster-general, AP Circle inaugurated the CBS services and stated that in the coming 6 months ATM will also get started. Postal bank will also be offering cashless services. Customers can use the debit cards of any bank to draw cash up to Rs 1,000 at 63 post offices.
