India's largest lender, State Bank of India's Chairman, Mr. Pratip Chaudhari said that the bank is deciding to merge with one of its associate banks during this quarter.

Post inaugurating the State of Bank of Travancore's community service activities here, Mr. Chaudhuri said that it almost took two years for stabilization after the merger of Bank of Saurashtra.

However, Mr. Chaudhuri on asking about the bank it would associate with, said, "We have not yet zeroed down any particular name so far".
