State Bank of Mysore appoints Sharad Sharma as its new Managing Director

The public sector bank, State Bank of Mysore, has appointed Mr. Sharad Sharma as the new Managing Director of the bank. Mr. Sharma took charge of his new post on Monday. Previously, he was working for State Bank of India as the Chennai Circle Head of the bank.

Mr. Sharma has a rich experience of working in the banking sector. He is a probationary officer from 1977 batch of State Bank of India. He has held the positions of: Chief General Manager (Risk Management)-State Bank of India; General Manager (Network-New Delhi and Mumbai)-SBI; General Manager (Project Finance) and General Manager (Global Markets)-SBI. In addition to this, he has also held an overseas position in the Toronto subsidiary of SBI Canada.
