State Bank of Travancore opens its new regional network office in Chennai

State Bank of India's associate, State Bank of Travancore has opened its first retail network office in Chennai.

This is the first ‘Network Office' of SBT outside Kerala. The office will be headed by a General Manager, would be controlling the zonal offices in Chennai, regional offices in Mumbai and New Delhi, besides the proposed zonal office in Bangalore and also the Regional Office in Hyderabad, which is expected to open up in the next couple of months.

These offices control 255 branches with an aggregate business turnover of Rs. 25,000 crore. Out of this, 137 branches are located in Tamil Nadu.
